The applicant is applying to a training in Professional Coaching and Wilderness Guiding that requires a high level of participation. This program is approved by the International Coach Federation (ICF) and provides graduates with a certification that allows them to obtain a Professional Certified Coach Credential (PCC). The applicant will be expected to add an additional 5-10 hours of self-directed academic work to their weekly schedule, attend regular face-to-face intensives, and participate in an experiential group environment. In addition to completing the coach training with EBI, the ICF requires Mentor Coaching (similar to supervision), and a minimum of 750 hours of coaching experience to obtain a credential.
