Ivy Walker is a teaching assistant and mentor to students in the Nature-Connected Coaching℠ (NCC) and Transformational Wilderness Guiding (TWG) programs at Earth-Based Institute. She is a certified Nature-Connected Coach who incorporates creating art with transformational life coaching sessions in the landscape. She loves working with like-minded, sensitive, and passionate people to shift culture towards a deeper relationship with nature. Ivy holds the credential of Associate Coach granted by the International Coach Federation (ICF). Her private practice, Creative Earth Coaching, is based out of scenic Crested Butte, CO.
As a professional artist, Ivy creates temporary artworks in the land and documents these through photographs and short videos. She places handmade paper cut-outs, or other art materials, into the land to evoke a temporary, poetic presence. Her artwork explores temporality, the present moment, and how these, paradoxically, connect all life with the “infinite.”
Ivy is has a Master of Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she also taught drawing and art foundations. Her work is represented by Oh Be Joyful Gallery in Crested Butte. She often teaches nature-based and creative classes. Visit her website for more information.
