Live instruction and community Connections
Introduction to Nature Connected Coaching has its own private Facebook Group that is monitored and facilitated by your instructor and the founder of EBI, Michael Jospe. This a great place to ask questions, get support and build a network.
Additionally, Michael hosts biweekly zoom conferences just for this group, where you will get live instruction and mentoring from Michael and no additional cost.

Hello! I started EBI in 2004 as I began my career as a life coach and wilderness guide who primarily worked with clients transitioning out of residential treatment and back into their home life.
At the same time, I was also I was part of the creation and development of Naropa University’s Wilderness Therapy Master’s Degree, where I was teaching some unique eco-therapy practices that I had learned from my mentors, Tom Brown Jr., Jon Young, and Dr. Roger Strachan.
Additionally, I was an adjunct professor for the Outdoor Recreation Leadership students at Western State Colorado University.
Between the mix of working with my individual clients, both in nature and at home, and a consistent group of students that were interested in learning the techniques that I was offering, I developed the Nature-Connected Coaching Certification program in 2008.
Since then, the team here at EBI has been continually developing and improving the NCC certification program into a year-long professional training that results in an International credential as a professional coach.
Becoming a NCC is a huge commit. Not just in time and money, but also in Vision. It’s really for those who have a passionate calling for helping others transform their lives in a way that supports a deep relationship with Nature that can have a long-lasting profound impact on humanity and Earth.
I wanted to create a way that makes these principles more accessible to those who have similar interests as our NCC students, yet are either already working professionally with other people, or who are looking ways to collaborate with nature in other forms of leadership.
So, here we are with the Introduction to Nature-Connected Coach program. I think you’ll find this program to be comprehensive and supportive to a wide range of interests and goals.

Q/A
The tuition paid for this course will be put towards the tuition for the full NCC program. While a few of the the concepts and tools offered in this training overlap with the NCC training, this program does not replace any of the NCC curriculum.
At this time we will be offering a certificate of completion. We are working with the ICF and WSCU to obtain academic and accreditation credits.
We are currently working the the ICF to get parts of this training recognized for continuing coach education credits.
While that is always preferred, it is not required or necessary. From our perspective, Nature is everywhere…even on a Zoom call!
