We envision a world of nature-connected leaders and coaches who guide others toward an inner sense of harmony and a powerful respect for the Earth.

We equip aspiring coaches and leaders with the skills, confidence, and credentials to cultivate nature-connected and soul-directed lives and successful businesses. Our online and in person programs combine experiential learning with community-based, collaborative education to support diverse pathways in coaching, leadership, and personal transformation.

For aspiring coaches, our Level 2 ICF-accredited Nature-Connected Coaching certification is a Professional Coach training that is evidence-based, trauma-informed and Nature-Connected. It also includes personalized business mentoring to help you thrive as a Coach. We’re here to help you develop essential business skills and launch a practice that resonates deeply with clients seeking meaningful change.

Earth-Based Institute was founded by Michael Jospe in 2004, and in 2008, we launched the Nature-Connected Coaching Certification Program. We are now a community of leaders, coaches, guides, and educators committed to helping people transform their lives through powerful encounters with Nature. EBI is recognized as the longest-running professional training program of its kind and is the only Level 2 ICF-accredited coach training program focused on transformational nature connection.

Nature-Connected Coaching is an ICF Level 2 accredited coaching program. The International Coach Federation (ICF) is the largest organization of Professional Certified Coaches in the world and provides accreditation to programs like ours, ensuring students are receiving the very best training possible. The NCC program is accredited by the ICF for 315 hours of coach training, making it possible for our graduates to achieve the highest level of Professional Coach credentialing.
