NATURE-BASED INTEGRATION COACHING CERTIFICATION

Journeys open the door, but integration is where the change happens.

Train to guide the integration of powerful experiences into life-lasting change.

8 months
120 training hours
Biweekly live calls
Start right away

People come back from the biggest experiences of their lives to find that nothing at home has changed, and yet everything in them has. Living those changes takes time, and attention, and someone who knows how to help.

The field has put its focus on the journey, which is only 10% of the process. The work that comes after, integration, is the other 90%. And this is the opportunity NBIC trains you for.

People arrive at integration through many doors.

The Nature-Based Integration Coaching Certification (NBIC) is an 8-month, ICF-aligned training that prepares you to guide the integration of powerful experiences — psychedelic and otherwise — into lasting change. NBIC trains you for the whole range of expanded and transformational experiences, not only psychedelic ones.

Life transitions
Grief and loss
Breathwork
Spiritual emergence
Rupture and rebirth
Wilderness quests
Ceremony

Nature runs through all aspects of this program.

Nature-based can be a slogan. Here it is a set of specific skills and tools that are woven through the whole program.

Nature-connection training included

Four additional nature-connection courses are built into NBIC to support your coaching foundation.

Nature practices woven into the calls

Our biweekly calls often include a guided nature-connection practice, with examples and discussion you can take home and use with your own clients.

Collaborate with nature

We show you how to bring nature into the integration work as a supportive ally to your clients.

You also join the EBI Nature-Connected Community

An online home for our coaches and guides that keeps you connected and inspired between calls, long after certification.

The only integration training grounded in nature itself.

Across the field, integration gets taught in offices and on video calls. Ours is grounded outdoors, in the body, and in relationship. The competency frameworks now emerging for this work name an ecological dimension. No other training teaches it.

NBIC is the only integration coaching certification built on nature-connection skills, taught by practicing guides and structured as a pathway toward an ICF credential.

Built for the practitioners this work needs.

This is for you if…

You are a certified coach working with transformation, identity shifts, grief, or meaning-making.
You are a licensed therapist bringing journey work into your practice, ethically and within scope.
You are a trained facilitator ready to formalize your integration practice.
You are an experienced practitioner every clinical program turns away for not holding a license.
You are a Nature-Connected Coaching graduate stacking an advanced credential.

This is not the right fit if…

·You want training to guide or administer journeys. We do not teach that, on purpose.
·You want a certificate without the practice. This is live, relational, project-based work.
·You want the fastest, cheapest paper credential rather than a real foundation.

Everything we teach is above-ground and legal.

We train the preparation and the integration, the work that happens before and after an experience. Our scope is our integrity, and it is the reason clinicians and licensed facilitators can feel safe referring to the people we certify.

What we train

Pre-journey and post-journey integration coaching, which is legal wherever coaching is.

What we do not do

Our graduates do not facilitate, administer, or recommend psychedelics, and we do not train them to.

Who our graduates work with

Licensed facilitators, clinics, and clinical providers, as the integration side of a referral relationship.

Eight modules, from first orientation to a working practice.

Here is the shape of it. The full syllabus has each module in detail, the schedule, and how certification works.

The scope and breadth of this training is unlike anything else. I finished knowing what I do, what I do not, and how to build a practice around it.

The business support was as real as the coaching training. I left with clients, not just a certificate.

The things people ask before they apply.

Do I need personal psychedelic experience?

No, and we will never ask you to get it. NBIC trains the coaching craft of preparation and integration, not the journey.

Is this a psychedelic integration coaching certification?

In part. NBIC trains you to support integration of psychedelic experiences and other transformational ones — grief, awakenings, major life transitions — always through above-ground, legal coaching. It is not a guide/facilitator training for administering substances.

Is integration coaching the same as therapy?

No. It is not therapy, and we teach you where that line sits and how to refer across it well.

Is this legal where I practice?

Yes. Everything we train is legal wherever coaching is legal, because the work happens before and after the experience, not during it. We teach current scope in each state's own terms.

What credential does it lead to?

Paired with our ICF Level 2 Nature-Connected Coaching certification, NBIC opens the education pathway toward your ICF credential, either ACC or PCC, based on your logged coaching hours. On its own, NBIC is a professional certification grounded in the NBICS competency standards.

Find out if this is your path.

Schedule a 20-minute no-pressure meet and greet to find out if NBIC fits where you are headed, or start your application now and we'll follow up with you.

Earth-Based Institute does not approve or disapprove, suggest, advocate, or make referrals or connections to any psychedelic substances, sources, or providers. NBIC trains pre-journey and post-journey integration coaching only. Graduates do not facilitate, administer, or recommend psychedelics. The ICF Level 2 credential pathway applies when NBIC is paired with our Nature-Connected Coaching certification.
